Born in 1986, he is a researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is mainly responsible for major tasks and project management in the research direction of alpine ecological change and ecological security.
Selected by National Youth Talent Project. In 2016, he won the "Outstanding Youth" fund of the German Helmholtz Federation and the "Liu Dongsheng Outstanding Youth Award" in 2019.
He has long been engaged in modeling of ocean circulation and climate abrupt mechanisms, focusing on the causes of millennial-scale climate abrupt events and their feedback on polar and global changes. He has published more than 60 SCI papers (more than 2200 citations), including 5 papers in Nature and Nature Geoscience as the first author and corresponding author. Another 11 collaborative articles have been published in journals such as Nature, Science, Nature Geoscience, Nature Communications, and PNAS, and each article has been cited more than 200 times.
